Stepping out: Lily Allen appeared to be eager to get her nails done as she revealed she was the first one in her local nail salon as lockdown restrictions begin easing

Lily emerged in her comfortable look comprising gym leggings, designer trainers and her cosy jacket to keep out the unseasonable chill.

In the video she posted once she arrived, she quickly scanned the room, which featured four empty chairs separated by plastic screens.

A few early birds featured in the video as they had their nails done for the first time in months following lockdown restrictions.

Lily simply captioned the snap: ‘First in’ as she enjoyed a seat in the relatively quiet salon. Restrictions for non-essential shops, bars and restaurants for outside eating and beauty salons were all eased.
