Cricket WAG Erin Holland breaks her silence as husband Ben Cutting is stranded in Covid-ravaged India – just two months after their lavish wedding

Cricket WAG Erin Holland has shared a tribute to her husband Ben Cutting as he remains stranded and alone in Covid-ravaged India.
The former Miss World Australia, 31, shared a photo of the newlywed couple to Instagram on Monday, alongside a touching caption.
‘Feels like I’ve been gone an age, but you’ve been gone longer. Missing you Ben,’ she wrote.
Ben is one of many Australian cricket stars, including Steve Smith and Pat Cummins, unable to return home with Australia’s borders slammed shut until at least May 15.

Thirty-four Australians remain in India – 12 players, 11 coaches, four commentators, two umpires and five support staff, as well as a commentator from New Zealand who lives in Australia.
As many as 9,000 Australians – including the country’s top cricket players – have been stranded in India by the government’s ban on flights from the Covid-ravaged nation until May 15.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison suspended all direct commercial flights and chartered repatriation flights last Tuesday as India suffers a huge surge in cases and deaths.
Erin married cricketer Ben in February this year, after rescheduling their wedding twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The model and the sportsman, 34, tied the knot in Byron Bay, New South Wales, at the Elements of Byron’s Heart of the Bay.

Erin told The Daily Telegraph at the time it had been ‘a long journey’ in arranging for all of their family and friends to ‘safely’ get together.
Ben added: ‘Everyone was so accommodating and we are so grateful they all made the time, three times, to be with us for our wedding.’
Erin stunned in three J’Aton couture designs, while Ben donned a grey suit from Alex Goodman Custom.
