The Marvel Universe star continued, ‘I thought that they were celebrating their [team’s] recent victory but those closest to me whom I trust tell me they were there to applaud my choice of going with “lazy gaze blue steel” pose.’

As well as marching, jubilant fans ‘also set off flares and fireworks’ during their celebrations, according to SBS.

One fan tweeted earlier in the week that the photo showed ‘scenes in Milan as Inter win their first league title in a decade, and celebrate by praying to their god Chris Hemsworth.’

Indeed, while Australia did have lockdowns last year, most restrictions across all states and territories have been lifted in recent months.

Up to 100 visitors are allowed in households in New South Wales, while up to 200 can gather in an outdoor public space and there are no restrictions on dancing and singing at venues.

The Hemsworths certainly made the most of their freedom, donning all-white attire as they danced the night away at Saturday’s party – with a guestlist that also included Hollywood star Matt Damon and Liam’s model girlfriend Gabriella Brooks.

Elsa shared a video of herself and Chris playfully dancing down the footpath together as they arrived at the exclusive soirée.

‘With those dance moves how could I say no! #whiteparty,’ she wrote in the caption.
