It looks like Taylor Swift has nine lives as an actress, set to appear in a new film from director David O. Russell.
Swift is heading back to the big screen after her part as Bombalurina in the dismal 2019 adaptation of the musical Cats, which was a critical disappointment and a box office flop.

There are few details about the O. Russell project, with the title of the film and plot details still remaining secret.

The new O. Russell film has already completed production and Disney’s 20th Century Studios will be releasing the project.
This will be the filmmaker’s first return to the big screen since 2015’s Joy with Jennifer Lawrence.
He’s revered for Oscar-winners like American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook.

Swift had a packed pandemic, releasing hit albums Folklore and Evermore back-to-back.
Swift isn’t exactly a rookie when it comes to movies.
She made her film debut in the 2010 romantic comedy Valentine’s Day, which also starred Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Taylor Lautner and Bradley Cooper.
Her other acting credits include a role in The Giver as well as a voice part in the animated Dr. Seuss movie The Lorax.
The Lover songstress was the subject of the 2020 Netflix documentary Miss Americana, which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival.
