Radio presenter Jackie ‘O’ Henderson became hysterical after a ‘mouse’ ran across her desk in the KIIS FM studios on Friday.

The 46-year-old, who is terrified of rodents and fears the mouse plague will reach Sydney, yelped after she saw a small animal scurry across her panel.

‘Ah, oh my god!’ the terrified mother of one said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. ‘There’s a huge mouse or something.’

Luckily for Jackie, the ‘mouse’ was just a producer’s guinea pig and it was all just a prank for the show’s weekly Only Lying segment.

‘That scared the life out of me,’ Jackie said afterwards. ‘I thought it was a fake thing they were doing, then it scurried its way towards me.’

‘That’s my fear is all the mice coming here, you know,’ she added.

Jackie’s co-host Kyle Sandilands then teased her about the mouse plague coming to the eastern suburbs of Sydney.

‘I feel like you have nothing to worry about,’ he said. ‘Nothing will be eating your toenails.’

For weeks Jackie has spoken of her phobia of mice and how she fears the mouse plague that is currently gripping NSW will eventually make its way to Sydney.

Countless farmers have had crops destroyed, with some losing as much as $300,000 worth of stock.

In a TikTok video earlier this month, a grazier known as Andrew projected thousands of mice out of his grain conveyor and into a roaring fire inside a 44-gallon drum.
