adidas has taken one of its most futuristic innovations and crafted a high-performance running shoe in tribute to Miami, adopting the soft pastel tones of the sunny and vibrant coastal city.
Dubbed the 4D RUN 1.0 LTD, the Three Stripes’ latest offering features a lightweight upper constructed entirely from a “Cloud White” Parley Ocean Plastic, a material made from recycled plastic waste in the ocean, putting sustainability at its forefront, much like the culture of Miami. A touch of color comes in the form of a “Blue Spirit” heel wrap and a pale salmon logo on the tongue, both hues harkening to Miami’s soft and sunny weather. Completing the silhouette is a responsive 3D-printed midsole based on 17 years of research and innovation, with a high-traction Continental Rubber outsole wrapping it up.
For those looking for new running options, the adidas 4D RUN 1.0 LTD will be available January 30 over on the company’s online store, retailing for $220 USD. Head over to learn more now.
