Beyonce announces new Ivy Park activewear collection on Instagram


Beyonce is teasing something dreamy for her latest Ivy Park offerings.

The superstar announced her highly sought-after activewear brand is releasing a new collection, sharing an image of a hyper-saturated field of flowers with ‘THIS IS MY PARK’ written on top to her social media on Monday.

The Formation singer, 39, tagged Ivy Park and partner Adidas and captioned the post: ‘DRIP 2 October 30.’

Though the information was minimal it sent fans into a frenzy, prompting Ivy Park to trend on Twitter.

Ivy Park x Adidas had previously announced the launch of their new shoe collaboration earlier this month. 

The highlighter-hued Ultra Boost was also slated to be released on October 30th, according to Sole Collector.

While no specifics about the new apparel collection have been revealed, Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted spoke about the pop star’s market power while addressing investors and analysts at Adidas’s financial results conference in March, according to CNN.

‘Whether its footwear or apparel, we’ll continue to do launches throughout this year in both categories where Beyoncé will bring her inspiration, her creativity and her brand to the unique brand of Adidas,’ Rorsted said. 

Ivy Park x Adidas’s first collection caused a commotion when it was released back on January 17. The entire collection sold out in just over a day.

Bey also caused a spectacle on social media with the release, shipping giant closets full of goodies directly to stars Kim Kardashian, Reese Witherspoon, Ellen DeGeneres, Janelle Monáe, Cardi B, Zendaya, Hailey Bieber, Yara Shahidi and Laverne Cox.

The success of Ivy Park has definitely added to Beyonce’s bottom line.

The diva was recently ranked as number 55 on Forbes’ list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, putting her ahead of fellow celebs Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Serena Williams and Reese Witherspoon.

She was valued at $420 million, $20 million from the year before. 

In addition to Ivy Park, albums, and touring, Beyonce’s other big paychecks came from voicing Nala for the live-action Lion King. 

She was paid $15million for the role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
