Converse Japan Tweaks All Star 100 With Splitlogo Design

After unveiling its patchwork Jack Purcells back in October, Converse Japan has returned once again, this time offering a playful twist on a classic silhouette: this rendition of the Chuck Taylor All Star 100 features a logo that’s been sliced and repositioned.

Coming in black and white colorways, the shoes are constructed with eco-friendly TENCEL fabrics, a textile made up of lyocell and modal fibers, engineered through environmentally responsible processes — it sources the raw, natural material of wood. A noteworthy highlight is the split All-Star logo at the upper ankle of the medial sides: the left shoe features a horizontal split while the right sees a vertical split. Starting at the top of the sneakers is white top-stitching, working its way down to frame a set of silver-toned eyelets and white laces at the forefoot. All these details above a retro cream-colored midsole that’s been equipped with React cushioning. As a finishing note, the rubber heel stamp has been split to round up the design.

The Converse All Star 100 Splitlogo is currently available at Converse Japan’s website for $75 USD.

Elsewhere, Nike SB Dunk Low “Raygun” has made an early return to StockX.
