Pain: Demi Rose has revealed she was sexually assaulted on the London Underground when she was ‘really young’ and on her way to a modelling shoot
Demi, who hales from Sutton-Coldfield, shot to fame when she dated Kylie Jenner’s rapper ex Tyga in May 2016 and has remained in the spotlight since.
However, prior to her dizzying rise to prominence, she was also working as a model during which she was a survivor of the attack on the tube.
She revealed: ‘I had a scary experience once, they didn’t know who I was, they were just a weirdo. I was really young when I first started modelling and I used to take the London tube, I don’t take it anymore because of this incident…
‘I went on two tubes to get to my shoot location and I realised there was a man who had come next to me. After I was walking for a bit and I nearly reached my destination, he came over and said to me “how much?”…

‘I responded confused, “how much what?” and he said “how much to touch your boobs?” I was shocked, I said “nothing go away” and I literally had a jacket on, I wasn’t glammed up and so I walked off…
‘I was on the phone asking about the shoot location and then this man ran up to me out of nowhere, he touched my boobs and ran off. It was strange, so I am very careful now.’
On her online experiences, she said: ‘Yes I get some strange messages, sometimes I get messages from people who have spoken to a fake account of me and they get angry and send messages after messages.’

On her frustrations of been judged on her physical appearance as opposed to her personality or beliefs, she went on: ‘Yes I definitely do, whoever meets me in person, they are very understanding of who I am and I have a lot to say…
‘I also like to help other people, so I would love to talk more on Instagram or create a documentary in the future. I would also like to go into skincare and start acting and video work…
‘I am a Christian and I like to have faith and trust that everything is meant to be. I go to a lot of sound healing things and Reiki. I recommend anyone who’s gone through something when they’re younger to find different healings.’
Demi has recently gone through heartbreak after she lost her father, Barrie Mawby, in October 2018 following a battle with cancer, before her beloved mother, Christine Mawby, passed away seven months later in June 2019.

On her parents, she said: ‘When I was 17, my mum had a heart attack which causes a stroke and she ended up disabled so I had to take care of her from a very young age. My dad is older… So I’ve always had to be the parent regarding them.
‘I feel like at least they’re not sick anymore, and I don’t feel guilty now for travelling, I trust that they are in a better place.
‘All I good do is look at the positive in the negative of losing them as I know they want me to be happy, and I still feel that they’re with me in spirit.
‘They were really proud, when I first started modelling, my dad and I would go to Tesco to pick up magazines I was in.
‘I did glamour modelling but I never did topless so we would pick up Nuts magazine or FHM. They were really proud of me because after I was bullied in school, I never went so they were pleased to see I branched out and achieved something.’
When asked of her future plans, Demi confirmed she would like to go into skincare and even start her own family.

She concluded: ‘I would love to get married and have kids, because I no longer have a family but I just trust in the universe, at the moment I’m thankful for my single journey.
‘I don’t know how my body would be after one kid, I would love to have one, two, three or four! It just depends on my partner and my body so let’s see!’
‘It’s nice to meet people when they don’t know who I am, but it’s also a question of where do I meet people in this modern day? I don’t think I could meet someone online but I could be wrong.
