DJ Flume is one of several talented Australian artists at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The festival, which is set to start on April 10, is held in the Californian desert and is one of the biggest events on the international music calendar attracting around 250,000 attendees each year.

While big names such as Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against the Machine will lead the three-day show, Australian stars have featured heavily in the line-up that was announced on Thursday.

Flume, real name Harley Edward Streten, will likely be watched by organisers and fans closely after he infamously performed a sex act live on stage at the Burning Man Festival in September.

DJs GG Magree and Dom Dolla will also perform some of their biggest hits to the huge crowds.

Australian rock group The Chats will also be making an appearance alongside King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Skeggs and Amyl and the Sniffers.

Zambian-Australian hip hop artist Sampa the Great, real name Sampa Tembo, will also perform.

The 21st annual showing of the event will take place on two weekends on April 10-12 and April 17-19 with tickets on sale at noon on Monday, January 6.

Travis Scott is set to headline the event after he first played at Coachella in 2017, around the same time he met now ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
