Kylie Jenner has divided fans by launching her own hand sanitiser in her eponymous skincare line.

The beauty mogul, 23, who launched Kylie Skin in May 2019, continued to take part in the fight against the coronavirus crisis by releasing the $7 protective item, nine months after donating $1 million to healthcare workers in Los Angeles

But a few of her social media followers claimed she was ‘profiting and capitalising off a pandemic’, while others complimented its sleek pink packaging and expressed their excitement over purchasing the product.

Promoting her new drop on Twitter, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star wrote: ‘my @kylieskin hand sanitizer is here!! White heart 80% alcohol, fast drying, and formulated with glycerin to prevent dryness!’

Her momager Kris added in a separate post: ‘Kylie Skin Hand Sanitizer is here! So many incredible benefits in this product. 

‘@kyliejenner, I love it! A perfect solution for on-the-go cleansing, formulated with 80% alcohol to purify hands + added glycerin to soothe the skin.’

The sanitizer boasts soft mist, purifying, non-sticky and quick drying features, 80% alcohol and glycerin to help soothe and protect skin from losing its moisture.

Fans also took to the platform to share their thoughts on the unit, with one penning: ‘Kylie really made kylie skin hand sanitizer…………. like ? Let’s profit off a pandemic.’ (sic)

Others added: ‘kylie jenner really out here selling HAND SANITIZER as if it’s something special.

‘for 4 interest free payments of 1.75 you could have your very own overpriced kylie sanitizer… Kylie’s selling hand sanitizer now lol jeezus. And mf’s gonna buy it..’ (sic).

Another Twitter user seemed to commend her business move as they wrote: ‘Not Kylie capitalizing off hand sanitizer… period sis.’ (sic)

More agreed: ‘I have never seen a hand sanitizer look so pretty.

‘AND THE HAND SANITIZER SAGA CONTINUES! @KylieJenner @kylieskin y’all knew I’d cop, AND COP I DID’. (sic)

The media personality, who shares daughter Stormi, two, with on-off partner and rapper Travis Scott, 28, created Kylie Cosmetics in 2015, before selling out products on its sister company within minutes of its launch four years later.

Kylie Skin sells face washes, creams, scrubs, serums, masks, and moisturisers, as well as hair accessories and candles.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Kylie for further comment. 

Back in April, Kylie and Kris, 65, distributed boxes of hand sanitizer to medical centers across southern California.

The reality stars were able to produce thousands of bottles of antibacterial gel for healthcare workers. 

Over the festive season, the businesswomen enjoyed a trip to Aspen with Stormi, Travis, 28, and supermodel Kendall, 25.
