Li-Ning's 2020 Ace Hike/Basketball Hybrid Sneaker Has Just Dropped
Li-Ning has just released its 2020 Ace hybrid sneaker. The 2020 Ace‘s multi-panel uppers see the colors navy, teal and grey across synthetic, nylon mesh and suede material, all matched to an earth-colored outsole in black, sand and brown.
The high-top sneaker takes inspiration from a number of classic examples of footwear; the rugged uppers along with large heel counter reference hiking shoes while the multi-pod outsole borrows design cues from adidas’ early “Crazy” line of sneakers — later carried over to the YEEZY 500 silhouette. The shoe is finished with bright-orange elastic detailing, a fire extinguisher logo at the tongue, and two dangling zipper pulls at the heel.
Those looking for something a little more artistic in the wold of sneakers can pick a pair up over at atmos for a price of ¥23,000 JPY (approximately $210 USD).
