Australia’s favourite Married At First Sight alumni returned to the spotlight on Sunday night for the franchise’s inaugural Grand Reunion special.

Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli

Known as one of MAFS’ ‘golden couples’, Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli earn thousands of dollars through endorsement deals and media appearances.

But things were very different back in 2019.

Martha entered the spotlight as a humble makeup artist living in Sydney, while Michael was a Melbourne-based primary school teacher with a passion for fitness.

After finding fame, the pair quit their jobs, moved to North Bondi and began working as full-time social media influencers.

They now boast an army of online followers, many of whom are all too happy to purchase anything they spruik on Instagram.

The couple were even awarded new job titles during their appearance at the MAFS Grand Reunion this week, with Martha describing herself as a ‘digital talent’ and Michael calling himself an ‘online trainer and health coach’.

Viewers have since poked fun at the couple’s rather pretentious-sounding job titles.

‘Is ‘digital talent’ the 2021 term for influencer?’ one viewer tweeted after Sunday night’s episode.

‘What happened to real jobs?’ another wrote.

The couple have also changed their looks dramatically since they first graced screens two years ago.

Elizabeth Sobinoff

Elizabeth Sobinoff entered the public eye as a no-name sales assistant working at a jewellery store.

She was discovered by a producer during her first week at work, and immediately left her job to join the 2019 series of MAFS.

Elizabeth, who was previously on a disability pension for 10 years before landing her sales position, has not returned to the retail industry.

The glamazon is estimated to earn $3,000 per sponsored post.

In 2020, she returned to MAFS for a second time, sporting a much slimmer frame and darker hair.

Since finding fame, Elizabeth has developed an understated fashion and makeup style.

She now opts for a more elegant aesthetic rather than her formerly eye-catching look.

Jessika Power

Jessika Power was arguably the breakout star from the blockbuster 2019 season of Married At First Sight.

The blonde, who was referred to as an ‘administration worker’ on MAFS, now makes a lucrative income from sponsored posts on social media.

‘I do not have another job other than Instagram. I earn all my money from Instagram, I earn a really good penny from Instagram,’ she boasted last year.

Jessika, who infamously cheated on her ‘husband’ with another groom, said in October 2019 that she makes between $8,000 and $10,000 per week spruiking products on social media.

At the time, Jessika boasted 215,000 Instagram followers.

Multiple procedures: Jessika's post-MAFS transformation has included a new set of veneers, two rounds of dental work, cheek and lip filler, Botox, a brow lift, a breast lift and a fat graft

She now spends her days promoting everything from makeup brands to teeth whitening products.

Jessika has also enjoyed a glamorous makeover since her rise to fame.

Over the past two years, the blonde has undergone an array of cosmetic procedures in quick succession.

Under the knife: In 2019, Jessika also underwent a breast lift and autologous fat graft, a $13,500 procedure involving the removal of fat cells from her thighs and buttocks. Pictured on MAFS in 2019

The fat was then deposited into her breasts, taking them from a B-cup to a D-cup.

To top off her new look, Jessika has also removed her hair extensions and now sports a shoulder-length bob cut.

Ines Basic

Ines Basic shot to fame in 2019 after her villainous appearance on MAFS.

The Bosnian refugee, who infamously had an affair with Sam Ball, previously worked as a legal assistant but hasn’t returned to the job.

Like Jessika, Ines has cashed in on her notoriety by launching a career as an influencer, spending her days promoting fashion and beauty brands on Instagram.

In June 2019, Ines boasted that she ‘no longer needs to work’ thanks to her lucrative social media gig.

‘I will probably never have to go back to a 9 to 5 job. Instagram is huge, the power of Instagram is so massive… I just want to work for myself,’ she told The Herald Sun.

Interestingly, Channel Nine listed Ines’ job title as ‘law student’ rather than ‘influencer’ during her appearance on the MAFS Grand Reunion – perhaps in an attempt to create the perception of diversity among the cast.

Ines recently boasted that she’d spent a staggering $44,000 to achieve her glamorous post-MAFS appearance.

Her list of procedures include Botox in her forehead, crow’s feet, frown lines and jaw muscles; filler in her jaw and lips; and an array of expensive skincare treatments.

Perhaps one of Ines’ most noticeable procedures was her porcelain veneers, which she had done in May 2019.

Sarah Roza

Sarah Roza shot to fame in 2018 after appearing on the fifth season of MAFS.

Unlike many of her fellow reality TV veterans, the glamazon chose not to overhaul her look since appearing on the show, and still sports her famous fiery locks and bombshell silhouette to this day.

While Sarah may look the same, her job title has changed significantly.

Sarah earns a lucrative income from spruiking beauty products on social media.

She also recently set up her own account on Cameo, selling personalised videos to fans for the bargain price of $29.
