Nike Gets Festive With Boldly-Printed Kyrie 6 "Chinese New Year"

To celebrate the forthcoming Year of the Rat, Nike Basketball and Kyrie Irving are honing in on 2020’s Chinese New Year with a new take on the Kyrie 6 silhouette.

Sporting a vibrant yellow base, the tongue of the shoe and ankle regions employ a lush tumbled leather. This is further carried out by a bright yellow outsole that sports purple and orange contrasts. Atop of the upper is a festive collage print with the forefoot paired with purple laces. This is met by an icy translucent midfoot strap emblazoned by Kyrie’s Seeing Eye logo, with a matching color found on the ankle donning the same logo. The shoe has been finished by a black Swoosh logo that has been outlined with gold embroidery on the lateral and medial sides, Nike’s 2020 CNY badge on the right tongue, and green mesh liners.

You can take a look at the Nike Kyrie 6 “Chinese New York” above. The shoe will hit Nike China SNKRS on January 1 with a retail price tag of $157 USD. For those outside of the region, the pair is rumored to hit global stockists later in the month with a pricetag of $140 USD.

For more, the Air Jordan 34 PF is also receiving the “Chinese New Year” treatment.
