Nike Golf has tapped Nike SB‘s ever-popular Janoski once again for a brand-new Janoski G Tour. Taking skater Stefan Janoski‘s boat shoe-inspired silhouette and ramping up its inherently elegant look, this hybrid style sits somewhere between loafer and sneaker.
Arriving in simple, luxurious black and white colorways, the Janoski G features a full-grain leather upper. A small textured plastic Swoosh is present on the lateral midfoot, and a debossed leather tongue badge provides tonal detailing. Each sockliner is ridged with luxurious vachetta tan trim.
These premium details are continued on the lower half. A thick EVA foam midsole with jagged ridges works in tandem with the removable plastic spikes to provide all-course traction. Of special note is that the midsole is significantly wider than the upper. It’s secured by boot-style stitch-down construction that’s complete with more vachetta tan accenting tones.
Apart from the various models in the Janoski G line, Nike Golf is certainly no stranger to drawing from other Swoosh sub-labels. Nike Sportswear‘s Air Max 1 has become a frequent participant thanks to the Air Max 1 G, and the Air Max 97 has joined the ranks by way of an Air Max 97 G in recent months as well.
Both styles of the Nike Janoski G Tour are available now on the Nike webstore, and retail for $150 USD.
Moving from golf to basketball, LeBron James‘ Nike LeBron 7 “All-Star” from 2010 is set to return for the first time ever ahead of NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago.
